The chips didn’t look like they were up to much but they were incredibly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! The star of the show however was the curry, hands down the best chip shop curry sauce I’ve ever had!

Recommended! The food here is incredibly tasty, perfectly cooked and fresh. I’ve been several times. They have a full Chinese take away menu as well as fish and chip options, though I’ve only ever had the latter. My most recent takeaway from here, a few days ago, was an order of two large cods, a portion of mushy peas and a large portion of chips, which came to £20.40, good value as it fed two people easily and left them both very satisfied! Everything was fried to order. Each cod was a whole piece and in a lovely thin batter. The service at the counter is very friendly. This is a family-run business that’s been in the area for several decades.

I wouldn't be motivated to write a review unless it was extremely good or extremely poor, it was EXCELLENT. Only had chips, but still very worthy of comment. All fried food appears to be cooked to order (nothing hanging around getting less crispy!) My chips were consistently golden, tasty as hell and the woman added salt & pepper just as I would've myself! Cant wait to go back and have fish too!
